Pre-order Mario Golf: World Tour In The UK And Get A Free Mario Hat

Pre-order Mario Golf: World Tour In The UK And Get A Free Mario Hat
One thing you can always depend on Nintendo for - is extra tidbits when you purchase their games. Last year if you were quick enough to pre-order-  The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Limited Edition - you were blessed with a Ganon Figurine. Lego City Undercover was packed with a small Chase McCain Lego Figurine and there are countless of other instances. Now, if you Pre-order Mario Golf: World Tour from the Nintendo UK store - you will receive a free Mario Hat. The game retails at £34.99 and with the free Hat - it is surely to convince those on the fence to take a swing at Mario Golf: World Tour. Mario Golf: World Tour will be out on May 2 for both Europe and America. If you cannot wait until then - Nintendo will have a demo available for download this Thursday. Yōkai Watch 2 Gets First Trailer! Plus More Information

Yōkai Watch 2 Gets First Trailer! Plus More Information
Last Saturday - I brought you the news that the Spirit capturing game - Yōkai Watch will be receiving a second installment - which follows Pokemon lead - now having  two versions: Yokai Watch 2: Ganso (Founder) and Yokai Watch 2: Honke (Head). httpvh://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj6Fw8T0OaA Level 5 has now uploaded the first trailer for Yōkai Watch 2 showcasing the game. According to Siliconera, Yōkai Watch 2 will feature more Spirits in addition to the 200 from the first game. Furthermore, the world will be expanded once you progress through the game. Yokai Watch 2: Ganso (Founder) and Yokai Watch 2: Honke (Head) will be out in Japan on July 10, 2014. The franchise commercial success has piqued my interest. I have begun to watch the anime - and my impressions are good so far. Hopefully, Nintendo of Level 5 will localize the game for the Western Markets. For more coverage on Yōkai Watch 2 stay informed at Mii-gamer.

Top selling 3DS Games Getting Official Price Cuts

Top selling 3DS Games Getting Official Price Cuts
Nintendo games are known to retain their value for long periods of times - even years after launch Ninty games can remain at full price.  For example - in Australia Pokemon Diamond is still dear - with a retail price at $40'ish. Thankfully, for potential consumers, you don't need to wait years until certain 3DS games get a price cut - since  Nintendo of America have announced that five 3DS game will have their retail prices cut. Starting April 22nd - Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Donkey Kong Country Returns will now have a tantalizing price of $29.99 at retail and on the Nintendo eShop. It doesn't take a genius that these game have already made a hefty profit for Nintendo - any more sales would be the cherry on top of the cake. I suspect Nintendo wants to reduce the entry cost level for potential consumers of the 3DS, by cutting the price of the most popular and wanted games on the system. Other than that - I ...

Nintendo of UK/Europe has announced via Twitter - that the much anticipated 3DS title Mario Golf: World Tour will have a demo available from this Thursday. Allowing 3DS owners to get an extensive hands on session for the game before its release. Try before you buy! I am  interested in the game - in fact - I haven't played a Mario Golf game since the GameCube days.. or was it the N64 generation... Nevertheless, it is the perfect time to get back in the swing of things. Mario Golf: World Tour will be out on the 2nd of May.   Source: twitter

Get a Bonus “Recommended” Game when you buy a 3DSXL In Japan

Get a Bonus “Recommended” Game when you buy a 3DSXL In Japan
While the 3DS is still selling relatively well in Japan - the successful handheld is a down YOY from the excellent 2013 calender. I suspect Nintendo has recognized the issue - and has now begun to rectify the problem with solutions. From April 26 until September 30  - purchasers of a 3DSXL will be able to download one of two titles - Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Youkai Watch - via a complimentary voucher from Nintendo. According to Siliconera - the game will be chosen by Nintendo - so it is likely that the consumers will have a say on what game they would like to own. Nevertheless - Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Youkai Watch are considered to be one of the best games for the Nintendo 3DS - so I highly doubt anyone would be complaining considering you will be getting a quality free game. I suspect the Nintendo 3DS will be getting a jolt of new leaf until Youkai Watch 2, Monster Hunter 4G and Super Smash Bros for 3DS launches. Source: Nintendo JP, Via Siliconera
