A Super Smash Bros. For Wii U Amiibo Bundle may be coming according to a product listing by a major US retail.

Walmart has recently listed on their website a Super Smash Bros. For Wii U Amiibo Starter Pack. The bundle pack comes complete with a physical copy of Smash Wii U, an Amiibo Mario, Amiibo Link, and Amiibo Pikach. At the moment, the Amiibo Starter Pack is priced at $99.

It is entirely plausible that Nintendo is planning an Amiibo bundle for Super Smash Bros. For Wii U, especially since the Amiibo product line has been said to release simultaneously with Smash Bros Wii U.

Recently, an image has emerged suggesting that Super Smash Bros. For Wii U may be hitting stores on November 21. Nintendo has yet to announce the official release date of Smash Bros Wii U, but it is still targeted for a Holiday release.

I dunno. I mean, I can definitely see them doing this kind of bundle, but with the base game being $60 and each individual amiibo costing $13, it’s simple addition to see that 60 + 13 + 13 + 13 = 99. This would be a killer bundle at $80, or even a decent deal at $90. But packaging it all together as if you’re getting some kind of a deal when it’s actually the exact same price is kind of lame and unnecessary. My two cents, anyway.

likely placeholder price, I think it might be $10 cheaper
