Reports coming out of Japan suggested that a bug was left undetected in Super Smash Bros. For 3DS. The Bug can only be met with a specific condition pertaining to a certain Princess of a Mushroom Kingdom. Players who select Princess Peach and used her turnips in the online modes were met with an undeserved one day ban.

The bug is rather unfortunate, and by Nintendo standards is unacceptable. So it comes at no surprise that Nintendo has issued a statement apologizing for the inconvenience to those how have been banned and ask players to avoid playing Peach online. Nintendo is prepping a patch to stamp out the bug, but unfortunately it will take a whole week before the update will be ready for distribution. Until this time, Princess Peach will be a no-go-fighter in online play.

While the Japanese are playing the full game, Smash Fans can have an early test play with the demo being available on September 19 on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The game, itself, is set to hit stores on October 4 in North America and Europe.
