Confirmed: Duck Hunt Dog, Dark Pit, Dr Mario, Game & Watch and Falco

The remaining characters for Super Smash Bros. For Wii U/3DS have been revealed. Emerging fresh from Japan – Duck Hunt Dog, Dark Pit, Dr Mario, Falco and Ganondorf have been revealed to be playable fighters in Super Smash Bros For 3DS. The leaks derive from users who got their hands on Smash Bros 3DS early, presumably by retailers breaking the street date.

The reveals fall in line with the leaks revealed a few weeks back, which unveiled Shulk, Duck Hunt Dog, Falco and Dr Mario. The only character from the leaks that have yet to be confirmed is Bowser Jnr. In my estimation, the Super Smash Bros For Wii U and 3DS roster is looking to be 45 fighters strong with Sakurai adding around 15 newcomers and cutting 5 veterans from the roster.

As for cut fighters it is looking likely that R.O.B, Wolf, Lucas, Pokemon Trainer, Ice Climbers and Snake is facing the cut. Perhaps they will be included in future DLC add-ons.

In recent news, director Masahiro Sakurai revealed that Alpha & Pikmin will be joining the battle in Super Smash Bros 4. Alph & Pikmin is likely a reskin of Olimar & Pikmin as both fighters share the same abilities and movesets.

Super Smash Bros For 3DS is launching in the land of the Rising Sun this Saturday. Across the pond, Smash 3DS will be hitting stores on October 2.
