Today, Sakurai revealed that each character will have 8 different character costumes in Super Smash Bros. For Wii U/3DS. As an example, Sakurai showcased the 8 different alternate costumes for Samus.

The first four color schemes for Samus are based off her Varia Suit, Fusion Suit, Gravity Suit from Super Metroid, and the Dark Suit,” says Sakurai. Her other costumes are the Gravity Suit, the Green Suit, Light Suit and Dark Samus. Additionally, Sakurai showcased the other four alternate costumes for Villager.

“Until now, you were only able to choose from four, or sometimes five or six colors for each character. This time, though, all characters have eight colors to choose from! The first four color schemes for Samus are based off her Varia Suit, Fusion Suit, Gravity Suit from Super Metroid, and the Dark Suit.”

I wanna see Links and Zeldas!

  • Eden’s Cross

If the majority of it is just color based than that’s kinda lame but if the majority of it=actual costumes like the villager than it’s a good thing.

I hope that every character has at least 1 true alternate outfit, but it seems like the newcomers are getting much better treatment than the vets. :/

Speaking of Super Metroid, I’m stuck in that area where there’s a high wall you have to wall jump off of consecutively on the same side or across the gap in order to go up since the wall is so high. It’s really hard trying to wall each jump off the wall so I’ve been stuck there. Any helpful hints I could use to get me up there if anyone knows the area I’m talking about? And speaking of villager, I haven’t played Animal Crossing in months my town is probably destroyed by now LOL I really need that New Nintendo 3DS.

      shine spark upwards

Been a while since I actually played and that is where I left off, but I’m very sure there is not enough running space to initiate shine spark but I’ll have to boot up the game again to check. It’s an area where I have to shoot a couple blocks that make an opening then get on top of the remaining blocks and start wall jumping. The walls are I think a bluish color. And there are enemies that shoot down from the ceiling towards you if you get really high near the ledge where you have go go like bats or something. And I have low health so unless I die and go to my last save point I’m pretty much stuck there. And where do I get wave beam?
