Character Customization Screen Showcased In Super Smash Bros. For Wii U/3DS

Since Super Smash Bros. For 3DS is a little over 2 weeks away from launch (in Japan), Sakurai has, as of late, primarily focused on the handheld version of Smash Bros. Today on Miiverse, director Masahiro Sakurai shared more information on the Character Customization Screen in Super Smash Bros. For Wii U/3DSIn this section, players can opt to customize equipment, special moves, headgear, outfits and powers.

“Customize your characters in the Custom section. It sounded better to customize “characters” instead of “fighters,” so that’s what we went with. There are various ways to customize, but make sure you remember to set up the powers you’re bringing with you before playing a round of Smash Run.” Sakurai wrote on Miiverse.

Super Smash Bros For 3DS is due for release on October 3. While Super Smash Bros. For Wii U still has a tentative holiday launch.
