Spectator Mode Detailed In Super Smash Bros. For 3DS
Following from yesterdays unfortunate character leaks, today on Miiverse, director Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that Spectator Mode will be available for Super Smash Bros For 3DS. In Spectator Mode you can watch exhibitions of live online matches and make bets with the in-game gold. It’s essentially the same mode from Super Smash Bros Brawl.
This time around, correctly betting on the winner has been made easier if you check out the players details, rules, win rates, odds, fighters and stage. “Spectator Mode is available even on the compact 3DS version!! In this mode, you can watch players all around the world fight and make bets with in-game gold.Wager wisely by checking out the player names, rules, win rates, odds, fighters, and stage!!” Sakurai wrote on Miiverse.
Sakurai also details the rewards of winning online matches. He wrote, “being able to cheer someone on is what really makes spectating matches fun. This time, 1st and 2nd place will get prizes in four-player matches, and spectators can bet the gold they win on Bonus Chances.”
