It’s literally Nintendo vs the world at the moment. It’s almost certain that Activision’s blockbuster title, Call of Duty: Advance Warfarewill not be coming to the Wii U this November. Co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, Michael Condrey, confirmed via Twitter that Activision has decidedly not to port Call of Duty: Advance Warfare for the the Nintendo Wii U.

For those hoping that Treyarch is somehow working on the port – Condrey confirmed that the famed COD team is NOT working on a Call of Duty: Advance Warfare Wii U.

It is rather unfortunate that 3rd party support has dwindled to almost nothing for the Wii U. Sure, titles like Call Of Duty and Assassins Creed will not have a significant effect on hardware sales, but being secluded from the rest of the industry isn’t ideal for the Big N. Nintendo needs an effective action plan to get more western partners on board to make titles for their hardware. I honestly do not like the path they are walking on.

What are your thoughts? Are you saddened by this news?
