To kick-off the new week,  Koei Tecmo has uploaded a brand new trailer for the hotly anticipated title, Hyrule Warriors. In show today is the spellbinding Lana. We’ve known for a while that Lana is a powerful Sorceress with an affinity for spells. However, now Lana appears to be a multi-talented warrior able to wield the Deku Stick with deadly proficiency.

Bestowed upon her by the Great Deku Tree himself – the Deku Stick grants Lana the power to summon miniature Deku Tree’s to assist her in battle and even allow her to use the mystical Deku Leaf from the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

Watch the trailer below to see Lana and the Deku Stick in action!

This trailer has definitely made me more interested in this character, I think I’m going to need to play the game in order to appreciate her fully, the Deku thing is helping though. 😛

I am so hyped for the game

I actually lost some of my hype in the last direct, shouldn’t have watched it really. Things like explaining how to use items to defeat bosses should really be left out I think. I would much prefer a similar direct after the game is released, to show off things people may have missed after figuring everything out for themselves.
