Nintendo has been riding a strong wave of positivity ever since the launch of Mario Kart 8. Leading into the launch of the game, then into E3 2014 – Nintendo has been doing everything right. If they continue on the same path – Nintendo are setting themselves up for success. They need only to keep at it!

More good news today – IGN has confirmed that Mario Kart 8 has sold through 2 million copies worldwide. The statement was issued during the AGM. Don’t quote me on this, I do believe Mario Kart 8 is now the fasting selling Wii U game, and best of all it will have insane legs.

Furthermore, Iwata has been re-elected to the board of directors at todays AGM. Good news for Iwata (I didn’t doubt he would be returning). Now, I hope he takes it easy while he  recovers from surgery.
