It’s hard to hate on Yoshida – he is a president with humility and grace. We all know about Yoshida gloating about how he owns two Wii U’s and now he has shared some kind words for the console.

Speaking at a talk show -Kurokawa Juku – revealed that he was fairly optimistic about the Wii U’s future.

“The latest Mario game is really good, too. I think the Wii U is just getting started,”

Yoshida continued:

“People can get together and enjoy [the Wii U]; it’s got plenty of wonderful games. Nintendo helps raise and teaches the fun of games to people just starting out. I think that’s a very important thing in this industry.”

I agree with his assessment. Hopefully, the Wii you can pull off an amazing comeback next year.
