Ubisoft has announced that the beautiful game “Child of Light” will be coming to the Wii U. Child of Light will be utilizing the UbiArt engine which is the same engine that the sublime Rayman Legend uses. Child of Light is a sidescrolling game in which players contrl Aurora as she travels through her walking dream. Child of Light implements the Wii Remote pointer or touchscreen on the gamepad. As for the battle system – the footage shown revealed that it is indeed turn based.

Interestingly, Child of Light is directed by the producer of Far Cry 3. What impressed the most is the artstyle – which boast a water colour pallete. No exact release date confirmed but Child of Light will be coming to the Wii U in 2014.
