A Wii U version of Armikrog still a possibility

Wii U version has been getting a lot of love from indie developers. The much anticipated game from the creator of Earthworm Jim, Doug TenApple, Armikrog could still be on the table for the Wii U. Pencil Test was official licensed as a Wii U developer just recently but they doesn’t automatically confirm the making of a version for the console.

Ed Shofield has stretched the kickstarter goal from $900 000 to $950 000. Interestingly, it will only cost $50 000 to port the game to the Wii U.

Shofield has this to say:

“Making a Wii U version of Armikrog was not part of our original budget, but so many people have been asking for it that we feel compelled to respond. Achieving this $950,000 stretch goal will cover the additional costs of developing Armikrog on the Wii U–which will be available for download through the Nintendo eShop.”

As long as the project reaches the kickstarter goal then we will get Armikrog for the Wii U. If you like to support Armikrog then check out the kickstarter campaign here.

Thank you escapist.
