Super Smash Bros. For 3DS Has Impressive Debut Week
Media Create Sales Number are in for the week ending September 19. More importantly, this weeks numbers include the sales of Super Smash Bros. For 3DS. Media Create reports that Super Smash Bros. For 3DS has sold 944,644 copies in its first week. It is important to note that Media Create does not include digital sales in its tracking data.
As for the Wii U, things aren’t looking too great for Nintendo’s home console. Mario Kart 8 is still tracking relatively well, with the kart racer selling 6,839, putting its total lifetime sales to 665,918 according to Media Create. Hyrule Warriors does not have the impressive legs that Nintendo titles are known for, however, this week the cross-over title has surpassed the 100 000 milestone. The hardware sales for the Wii U are a little depressing, as it barely managed to sell over 7 000 hardware units this week. With this said, with Bayonetta 2 and Fatal Frame coming out in the next weeks – the Wii U should get a tiny boost.
