AKB48 Joins The Fight In Super Smash Bros. For 3DS Commercial

The AKB48 commercial for Super Smash Bros. For 3DS has finally emerged. Uploaded by YouTube user , the commercial showcases adorable Mii Fighters resembling several members of the insanely popular Japanese entertainment group, AKb48.

Of course, the AKB48 Mii Fighters are not strictly there for show- Nintendo fans will be able to create their favorite members and then throw them right into battle, allowing them to face of against gaming’s most iconic character like Mario, Link, Pikachu, Donkey and many more.

Calling on big brands like AKB48 to assist promotions, it appears that Nintendo are ramping up their marketing efforts for Smash Bros 3DS, as they head into the inevitable launch on September 13.

Super Smash Bros For 3DS is due for release on October 3. While Super Smash Bros. For Wii U still has a tentative holiday launch.
