Super Smash Bros Guidebook Confirms Starting Character List?

The starting character roster number for Super Smash Bros. For 3DS could be 36 fighters, according to the Super Smash Bros Guidebook that is currently being distributed around Japan,

Inside-Games reports that the Guidebook has a brief introduction of the confirmed characters, including move-sets and strategies, presumably used to assist newcomers to the series. However, Inside-Games notes that Lucina is not included in the pamphlet, which adds more credence to a rumor circulating around the internet. Last week we reported on a rumor that suggested that the starting character roster for Super Smash Bros. For 3DS will include all the revealed characters, besides Lucina.

Now, with two separate sources alluding to the same findings, it is safe to assume that the starting list will be 36 characters (essentially all the characters confirmed so far beside Lucina), which already matches Brawl’s full fighter roster. Please do not take this as official confirmation, but rather as informed conjecture. But I think the evidence is terribly convincing… well in my head, that is.
