Wondercon Will Feature Mario Kart 8 And Other Great Nintendo Games

Wondercon Will Feature Mario Kart 8 And Other Great Nintendo Games
Conventions are an excellent opportunity for Publishers to show off their latest and greatest to the general public. Allowing the mass to play the game for themselves is an effective form of marketing. Unfortunately. Nintendo did miss PAX EAST - however, as make up -  they will be attending WonderCon this weekend. Best of all they will have a strong showcase of games - with 5 sure fire games in their lineup. The following will be displayed during WonderCon: 1. Mario Kart 8 2. Mario Golf: World Tour 3. Kirby: Triple Deluxe 4. Yoshi's New Island 5. Disney Magical World. WonderCon will be held at Anaheim, California between April 18 and April 20. For more information on WonderCon you can check out their official website.

Tsutaya Game Rankings April 7 – April 13

Tsutaya Game Rankings April 7 – April 13
Tsutaya's Game Rankings are in the for the week between April 7 and April 13. Unfortunately, this week ranking is rather dull - with no surprise or worthwhile releases to get excited for. As for Rankings - Super Robot War Z topping the ladder with both the PS3 and Vita taking the top 2 spots respectively. Yokai Watch and Mario Party: Island Tour has shown some incredible legs by remaining in the top 5. As for Just Dance Wii U - it has dropped like a stone moving to number 10. What should be cause for concern is the like of PS4 titles in the rankings. You can check last week's rankings here. Strongest Mega Evolution to be decided in Pokemon X&Y specials

Strongest Mega Evolution to be decided in Pokemon X&Y specials
I don't know how this piece of information escaped me - especially since I am a massive Pokemon fan - nevertheless - no harm was done. What am I talking about? Well, I just recently discovered (around 1 hour ago) - that a Pokemon X&Y spin-off anime is running simultaneously to the Pokemon animated mainline series (i.e Satoshi's adventure). The spinoff series is titled Pokemon XY Special – The Strongest Mega Evolution. The series follows the adventures of a brand new protagonist - Allan and his pesky travel companion Manon. Allan, from what I can gather - strives to be the strongest Mega Evolution Pokemon trainer - with his Mega Charizard X. Unlike the preachy mainline series - The Strongest Mega Evolution is more action oriented - which is a breath of fresh of air from the normal series since it has become extremely stale over the years. The very first episodes see's Allan and his trusty Mega Charizard battle a Mega Absol and a Mega Garchomp. Best of all - Elite Four ...

The History of Mario Kart Shown In One Fantastic Image

The History of Mario Kart Shown In One Fantastic Image
It is hard to believe that the Mario Kart series has been going for 21 years and only have  8 entries in the franchise. The longevity of the series has to be down to the addictive core gameplay - one that can transcend through time without feeling outdated. Nintendo has uploaded an interesting image - taking the viewer through the rich history of Mario Kart starting from the 1993 title - Super Mario Kart to 2014's Mario Kart 8. No doubt - this is part of Nintendo's social campaign to get their fans excited for Mario Kart 8.   For more information on Mario Kart 8 stay informed at Mii-gamer. Is Nintendo Making a Shooter? Trademark for S.T.E.A.M Filed!

Is Nintendo Making a Shooter? Trademark for S.T.E.A.M Filed!
Is Nintendo finally making moves to appeal to a wider audience? Nintendo has clear strengths in certain genre's such as Platformers, Puzzlers, Action Adventure, Strategy RPG'S and RPG'S - however - in shooters they are almost completely lacking in experience. I've been quite vocal on the matter; that Nintendo must expand their repertoir of games. Is there signs that Nintendo has heard my pleas? Gematsu has discovered something interesting - on April 2nd, 14 - Nintendo has filed a trademark for S.T.E.A.M Strike Team Eliminating Alien Menace. Although, the only information we have is the Codename for this potential game - and going by the sound of the title - I have a feeling that it could be a shooter. Of course, it could be an action title considering Nintendo's knowledge of the genre and the general vibe that I get that Nintendo do not want to develop an FPS. Regardless of genre - I am a tad curious on what the game will eventuate as, if it ever  is shown in some form. ...
