In celebration of the Hanabi Festival (in literal terms means Fireworks Festival) – Nintendo of Japan has distributed to Club Nintendo members, a fantastic art piece of Link wearing a Yukata and fashioning the Majora’s Mask.

I’ve been reading conjecture that Nintendo is teasing a Majora’s Mask remake, but I don’t think this is the case. In certain festivals in Japan wearing a mask is a custom, so the Majora’s Mask may very well have been included for this reason, and nothing more. As much as I want a Majora’s Mask remake, it is important to keep your expectations in check and be patient.

The Hanabi Festivals will be hosted over a number of locations in Japan throughout August. If you like to read more on the subject then I suggest reading this nicely summarized article by Japan-guide.

And of course, please admire the art piece of Link above!
