I was a bit disappointed at first since I would like to see some new franchises have representatives, but then I saw her gameplay. I am really glad Sakurai went the route of having her use Luma as a permanent companion, such as the kid with the puppet from BlazBlue. Definitely will add a cool new fighting style to the game! Also, OMG HYRULE WARRIORS. I haven’t played many DW games before, but that looks awesome.

Not excited about hyrule warriors. Dynasty warrior games are boring. It is early morning in australia and staying up late for the direct was worth it to see mario kart 8 and rosalina

I can understand why you wouldn’t be. I used to find Dynasty Warriors rather boring, but those types of games actually have a place. I still haven’t played them much, but I rather enjoyed Samurai Warrior Chronicles and Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper for the amount I’ve played them so far. Yes, they may not be true Dynasty Warrior games, but they are very similar.

Also, Sakurai had me going there thinking that Kirby was going to be in MK8.

That would have been awesome to be honest.
